Anabolic Review (Official name of my new show)

You may have noticed I haven’t been as regular in my blog (or with Injected, which has taken a bit of a back seat). Well, that’s because I’ve been doing a lot of work with the show that I’m hosting (called “Anabolic Review” that will be on the Anabolic Network…which will be airing on the main page of steroid.com).

We’ve made the video player the biggest thing on the main page now, and we’re broadcasting in fucking HD …yeah, no shit, we’re going all out. The new player is up right now, and we’ve included an introduction to a show too…if you haven’t checked it out, it’s sick. If you checked it out yesterday, check it out again, because it’s totally different.

Just for fun, we sat around and looked at what some other sites had to offer, in terms of video feeds. BB.com has one and MD has one, as does MuscleMayhem. MuscleMayhem is actually the one I like the most, because it’s kinda simple and basically doesn’t try to be a “show” …it’s just what it is, and offers something for the members to watch.

The thing I saw was an arm training video, and if you’re into that kind of thing (which I’m not), it’s not bad.

BB.com has a series of interviews with bodybuilders featuring a hand held camera, and production quality that is just slightly better than the “Blair Witch Project” .

In other words, it’s total garbage.

MD has (potentially) the worst show I’ve ever seen. I’m not even sure what I’m watching most of the time. One show I saw was a dude doing bent over rows for like 5 minutes – followed by a guy doing (I’m not kidding) a Rambo impersonation. The production value is horrible, the content is mind-bogglingly bad (wow, bent over rows…tell me more…), and the highlight of the video was the fact that they actually started filming and you can hear the dude behind the camera telling the other guy to start his skit…

But I’m really happy with what we have so far, and honestly, you should go check it out. It’s on the main page of steroid.com.

Also, starting tomorrow, I’m going to be doing daily videos which will be 2 or 3 minutes each, and will be me talking about my daily Injected column, and explaining it in more detail.

Feedback (as always) is welcome:
