Yesterday, in response to this SuperHuman Radio Interview that I did, Brian Clapp (Owner of Steroid.com, RoidStore.com, FatStrippers.com, SteroidAbuse.com)asked to be given the opportunity to respond to me. Wait…or was it just a delayed response to this Muscle Sport Mag interview that I did months ago?
Most people actually don’t know this but waaaay back in 2005, Brian was on a morning radio show in Houston. The result was predictable: they laughed him off the show and humiliated him. That’s why I was hired to be the media representative for steroid.com, and that’s why he shouldn’t have gone on the radio this last time. Granted, I was a little annoyed that he was only called out on a few “inconsistencies” (lies) in this last appearance, but he did a fine job of tripping himself up, and there’s a few golden moments of completely dead air while he rambles on.
First of all, if you have to ask to be on the radio, you probably aren’t a guest that anybody will care about. In other words, the difference between myself going on the radio and Brian Clapp, is that I GET ASKED to be a guest and he HAS TO ASK to be one. It’s pathetic, and I don’t know what else to say other than you shouldn’t be asking to be on the radio; if you’re a worthwhile guest you’ll be asked (not the other way around).
The other difference is that when I talk, people actually tune in. My SHR appearance was announced 27 minutes before I went on the air, and I had 160+ live listeners. His SHR appearance was announced a full day beforehand, and he got less than half that number. And still, nobody has even bothered to comment in the related thread on the Muscular Development Website about the episode (meanwhile, the thread about my episode has had 580 views and tons of downloads + replies….my numbers just absolutely dwarf Brians, in every way).

Frankly, I had as many live listeners as Brian had views on the entire thread about him. People probably didn’t even know who he was – and still don’t. I was expecting some kind of response on the Muscular Development forums this morning to the show, but the reality is that nobody outside of Brian’s own site really cares (or knows)who he is (which is shocking in light of the fact that he plagiarizes all of my work). On the other hand, his members were trying feverishly to post links to my show when it first aired (on steroid.com), and they were quickly banned (and the links deleted).
It’s even worse when you consider the fact that he wouldn’t have even had 80 listeners if I hadn’t been on the same show prior to him!
I wasn’t even going to really comment on the situation, but after seeing how pathetic his numbers were, I couldn’t help bragging – just a bit.
And for the record, Carl Lanore did a very unbiased show, and allowed Brian to ramble on about himself for an absurd amount of time. Carl is my buddy, and he does a completely unbiased (and great) job on his show. Aaron Singerman also did a great job as co-host, especially in light of his newness to being on the radio.
Now, just to set the record straight, here’s what Carl Lanore, the Host of SuperHuman Radio really thinks of Brian Clapp:
Anthony exposed the “secret” ingredients in [Brian Clapp's] high-priced name-sounds-like-real-steroid products… and as I recall the strongest ingredient that had any resemblance to an actual hormone that was in any of them was DHEA.
[Brian Clapp sells products to]… thousands of unknowing kids…[who] think they’re buying real steroids form steroid.com…I’m pretty sure that the only customers who buy those fake products who’s names purposely sound like real steroids is KIDS.
[Brian Clapp runs] a company that knowingly bleeds young kids of their money by selling them over-priced fake steroids. It hurts the entire industry… Imagine these kids telling their friends that they are buying REAL steroids on the Internet. That story gets passed around and parents want to mobilize action by creating REAL laws that effect all of us because they think these kids are buying real steroids. Steroid.com’s tactics have an impact on all of us and if you don’t think they do you’re wrong.
