Jay Moore – was not arrested in Texas steroid bust
Yesterday I had reported that Millard Baker named Jay Moore as one of the bodybuilders who was rounded up in the Houston, Texas, based steroid bust. It turns out that this is a case of mistaken identity, and Millard dropped me a text message this morning to make sure that I cleared it up immediately. As you can see from the first photo below (the real Jay Moore), and the second photo right below it (a bodybuilder arrested in Operation Farmacia de Juicy Phruit), they really do look alike (close to identical, when you consider how different bodybuilders look onstage as compared to when they’re arrested), and it’s no surprise that Millard confused one for the other – there was certainly no ill-will involved in his reporting (which is almost always dead-on accurate), and I didn’t repeat the information maliciously…I wholeheartedly apologize to Mr. Moore, for the case of mistaken identity.
