William Llewellyn’s Arachidonic Acid DROPPED BY GASPARI NUTRITION

William Llewellyn’s Arachidonic Acid DROPPED BY GASPARI NUTRITION

My regular readers know that I’ve been railing against Arachidonic Acid for literally months now. It has been proven ineffective and some would argue dangerous, and is one of the primary ingredients in Gaspari Nutrition’s current Halodrol incarnation. Well, after months of my publicly complaining, it has finally been dropped from the Halodrol formula. Of course, Mr. Llewellyn was whining and crying about it on Bodybuilding.com, as this represents the lion’s share of his annual income, which he just saw flushed down the drain….
A Gaspari Nutrition employee had this to say about Arachidonic Acid:

I did read the study and was not impressed.

Well, that makes two of us. Actually, it makes two thousand and two of us, because I get a thousand unique visitors each day, and none of them are impressed with the Arachidonic Acid study by Baylor University either. During the thread in question on Bodybuilding.com, this same Gaspari Nutrition employee mentioned that he felt Mr. Llewellyn was being condescending, insulting, and even making “veiled threats.”  Anyone who has had the misfortune to interact with Llewellyn would likely confirm that this is par for the course when dealing with him.

But of course, it’s a huge kick in the face when a company as large as Gaspari Nutrition openly states that your only patented product is a complete turd, and that they’re dropping it from their formula because it’s garbage. This is just another nail in William Llewellyn’s coffin, in terms of crediblity, and although many would argue that I wasn’t the causative factor in him losing the most lucrative contract of his entire career, I’d like to mention that not only was I the most public and visible figure openly talking about how terrible Arachidonic Acid is for MONTHS, I was OPENLY ASKING GASPARI NUTRITION TO DROP THE CRAP FROM THEIR HALODROL PRODUCT! And, not surprisingly, my comments on his so-called nutritional breakthrough (ha ha) were referenced in the very Bodybuilding.com thread he had been crying in….waaaa….waaaa….

I’d like to think that having had four books published already, and four nutritional supplements previously released on the market implies that my opinion carries at least a modicum of weight in this small world. It’s more than Mister Llewellyn can claim, and in fact, my one book currently sold on Amazon.com has a higher sales rank than every single edition of his “Anabolics” series except the current one. (Just a little fun fact for all of the Llewellyn apostles out there…)

But hey…maybe it doesn’t, and I’m fine with that…Arachidonic Acid is garbage, and dangerous, and I’m glad to see it removed from such a lucrative product, regardless of whether or not my thoughts had a part in it. The lads over at Gaspari Nutrition are bright enough to realize when they’re wasting money on a product shown to be no better than placebo, and they certainly didn’t need me to point that out to them. I can usually predict when a good company will drop an obviously BAD product…

Similarly, I predicted Patrick Arnold would lose his contract with Gaspari, several months prior to it happening – for a combination of 6-OXO being a bad product and the fact that Patrick is a public relations clusterf*ck at best.  Of course…I’m not a genius…I just call ‘em how I see ‘em….

Enjoy your weekend, Bill.
