Brian Clapp & DISCOUNTSUPPLEMENTS.com sponsors RxMuscle.com!

Brian Clapp & DISCOUNTSUPPLEMENTS.com sponsors RxMuscle.com!

Well, it appears that many RxMuscle.com’s members worst fears have come true: acknowledged scammer Brian Clapp, owner of RoidStore.com, BuySteroids.com, and many other fraudulent sites, has begun sponsoring RxMuscle.com. When he first began posting on the site, I’d say 99% of the membership was against him, sniffing him out for the scammer that he is. That same number appears to be against him, although you might not be able to tell any longer…

Once Clapp started talking about sponsoring the site, posts began disappearing. Threads were being edited and members were (and are) being heavily censored with regards to Clapp and his business practices. I’m not giving you my opinion here, simply stating facts…I’m not even making a judgment on the site, the owners, the staff, or the members, I’m just stating facts. Moderators have had – by their own admission – to issue numerous warnings about flaming the new sponsor, and all of the threads and posts attacking Clapp and his business practices have been moved to “The Pit” – a forum dedicated just to flaming, which is not seen as particularly credible (for the most part) . In my opinion, discussions and dialogues about a sponsor’s PAST AND PRESENT business practices ought not be relegated to a forum like that, and should be regarded with the utmost seriousness. A thread about Clapp being investigated by the FDA, which repeats the official and legal documents found here in my blog, was closed once he began talking about sponsoring the site. Again, none of this is my opinion, I’m just reporting facts that have been openly posted on the message board; nothing new here.

When the membership posted the ingredients for Brian’s supplements (the ones he named after steroids to fool unsuspecting consumers), that post was deleted. Again, I’m not saying anything that people don’t know…or anything that hasn’t been said before…I just want a record of this to be out in the open and permanent.

Going back over Clapp’s posts, it is quite clear that part of his arrangement to sponsor the site (perhaps even the primary reason he is sponsoring it) is to censor the membership:

Sponsor

Everything is spelled out for the membership to read…he needs the site to be censored if he’s going to sponsor it. There’s no other way that his comments can be interpreted. He bought and paid for censorship, and that’s exactly what he got.  This is extremely interesting, because on one hand, while he is having posts censored on RxMuscle, he has sent me a text message, talking about how those same posts don’t effect him:

IMG_0089Interesting…he is forcing RxMuscle.com to censor their posts, in a very public and obvious way, yet privately he is saying that those same posts don’t matter. It would seem that he has been caught contradicting himself (again).

I won’t belabor my points here, but instead, I’ll show you what the members and some of the actual forum staff thinks of the new sponsor. I certainly don’t blame the moderators, because they’ve got a job to do, regardless of how distasteful they find it, or how opposed to it they may be. Remember, while I may have the same opinion as the members and staff, I’m not giving you MY thoughts…I’m giving you the message board’s opinion about their newest sponsor, DiscountSupplements.com and its owner, Brian Clapp. All of this is available on the RxMuscle.com forums, and I need to stress that I’m not injecting my opinion into this discussion, I’m simply reporting the facts.

This first screenshot is a thread started by Brian Clapp, called “What Supplements do you actually think are really worth buying?”  that ultimately was moved to “The Pit” – once it was moved, a moderator changed the title to reflect that none of Brian’s supplements would be in that category (adding “None that I make, hahahaha”):

ClappPwned

Nice one – I’m sure that got some sand in Clapp’s vagina…even the mods are attacking him wherever they can. In that same thread, after Clapp began sponsoring the site, one member talks about how he was warned not to talk bad about him anymore, saying “Well, looks like I have to keep my mouth shut when it comes to Brian Clapp, as I received quite the warning from one of the mods,” while another agreed, saying “they removed my thread about [Brian Clapp]…being the discount.com sponsor.

The moderators even issued a public warning to the membership:

warning

Interesting…the first thing the staff had to do was warn the membership about attacking the new sponsor. I find that interesting to say the least, and seems to be indicative of the assumption that nobody on the site wants the new sponsor there. Next, we see a moderator making fun of Clapp and his terrible RoidStore/BuySteroids supplements:

sus500

Of course, some of the moderators are more than happy to toe the company line, and say that DiscountSupplements.com and Clapp are reputable, and that Dave Palumbo and John Romano (the site owners) wouldn’t be involved with someone who wasn’t. Again, I won’t belabor my points, I’ll let you see what the site’s own members think of that statement:

Trust

As you can see, the attacks against Clapp’s credibility and legitimacy have now been carried over onto the site’s owners, with membership claiming that they have sold their souls:

Souls

Interesting to say the least. See, Brian Clapp is known everywhere as a scammer…he made a decision to rip people off with fake steroids, and now he’ll never be credible. And the funny thing about his lack of credibility is that he’ll never shake the stigma of being a con-man and a scammer. The only way he can even hang out on RxMuscle.com and not get attacked in every single post he makes is to buy the right of censorship as a sponsor. Again, what I’m saying is what you will read on RxMuscle.com. I’m not attacking the site, I’m repeating exactly what it ALREADY SAYS on the site. Everything I’ve said (and mostly I’m letting screenshots do the talking), has been previously posted on RxMuscle by someone other than myself. Please don’t read this as an attack on that site, it’s members, its owners, or its staff. Let the validity of my screenshots do whatever talking needs to be done, and judge for yourself.

And even though he’s clearly bought censorship rights, various moderators are still taking shots at him, and saying that he’ll never get their business:

business

I had a lot of things to say about this…but you know what? There’s nothing I can say that the members and staff of RxMuscle haven’t said already – unfortunately, if they allow Brian Clapp and DiscountSupplements.com to control what can and can’t be said on the site…well, that may all change soon enough.

Boycott DiscountSupplements.com and boycott censorship.
