Guy Ducasse, an IFBB professional bodybuilder was sentenced Friday to one month in jail and ordered to perform 400 hours of community service speaking to youngsters about the dangers of steroids during those community service hours, after pleading guilty in August to distributing an anabolic steroids. He will also be under court supervision for three years.
Ducasse’s guilty plea was technically on one count of distributing Proviron in 2006, although the court found that Ducasse distributed 4,324 units of steroids to at least seven people, but those charges were dropped as part of the plea arrangement. Typically, this kind of offense would constitute a prison sentence of 15 to 21 months. The judge, however, said that she didn’t want Ducasse to spend 15 months in prison lifting weights at taxpayer expense.
